A group of Afghanistan citizens, human rights activists, and members of the Afghanistan community in Germany held a protest outside the German Federal Foreign Office in Berlin to voice their concerns over the human rights situation and the Taliban’s policies in Afghanistan.

The participants carried Afghanisatn flags and placards supporting women’s rights, girls’ education, and fundamental freedoms. They called on the international community to increase pressure on the Taliban and urged the German government to make human rights particularly the rights of women and girls a priority in its engagement with Afghanistan.

According to published reports, the demonstrators’ slogans were mainly directed against the Taliban’s policies and in support of freedom, justice, and the right to education for Afghanistan women and girls. The gathering was held peacefully, with participants emphasizing the importance of continued international support for the people of Afghanistan.

In recent weeks and months, similar demonstrations have been organized by members of the Afghanistan diaspora in Germany and other European countries to protest restrictions imposed by the Taliban. These gatherings have primarily focused on advocating for women’s rights, access to education, and civil liberties in Afghanistan.
